Fab little hotel. Sometimes the people definitely make a place.

We loved the location of the hotel. Set in a great neighbourhood with minutes walk from an artisan bakery and authentic food market. For our budget, the hotel was adequate and offered everything we needed but what set it aside was the staff. The staff was incredibly friendly, courteous and went out of their way to help us with everything and to make our stay comfortable.

There are hundreds of hotels in Singapore but within our budget this was great.

Very good hotel if you don't stay in the room

So nice and helpful staff. Room was small but sufficient for a night. Very clean room. Very well located close to the market.

Bed was a bit too small, this was annoying.

Boutique accommodation in hip Tiong Bahru

Great location in the Tiong Bahru neighbourhood right across the road from the Hawker Centre. Nice and quiet. Older 'boutique' style hotel. Our room was a decent size by Singapore standards and the bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed relaxing on the pool terrace and using the pool after a hot day's site seeing.

A bit of a walk from the closest Subway station, however there were plenty of busses close by which we ended up using more than the Subway to get around.

Very Good

In addition to 1 staff at reception, there was an additional assistance/porter. Staff were helpful and was available 24 hours. Hotel is close to the bus stop (<5 min walk) with multiple bus routes. I found taking the bus more convenient than MRT in Singapore. Compared to other hotels in Singapore, this hotel was good value for money.

The bed was excellent & location granted easy access to various eateries & malls

The TV was kinda small and hanging from the ceiling bracket which made viewing uncomfortable
